CVN-N001-EK-S01 — D1: ADR "Tradability Decision Protocol" + charter

What this Story delivers (D1)

The durable decision rules (the ADR adr/0102, status Accepted) and an unlocked charter template (placeholders → filled S02, locked S03). S01 derives no quantitative value, runs no experiment, and authorizes no trading. It is the prerequisite for the rest of the Epic.

Status & gate

  • OpenProject status: Specified (advanced after plan_review PASSED).
  • Implementation (In progress) is gated by the single-WIP rule (ADR-69): another Story (CVN-N011-EA-S12, wp#127) is currently In progress. The operator decides the WIP slot before S01 goes In progress.
  • Per operator instruction (2026-06-09), implementation of the ADR + charter starts only after the operator has reviewed the full doc set (plan · architecture · runbook · test strategy).

Definition of Done (S01)

  • ADR adr/0102 written (accepted, instance-free, 9 durable invariants) + one-line adr/index.md catalogue entry.
  • Charter draft written (every placeholder names its source Story + lock authority; no value; thesis framed as a hypothesis).
  • Plan · architecture · runbook · test strategy all live in the Story nav (mkdocs build --strict).
  • Acceptance criteria of the plan dossier §12 satisfied.
  • plan_review PASSED (done) → on implementation completion, Story advances toward Developed.
